Gravity Forms Bookings is worth buying when you already use Gravity Forms and need highly customized scheduling with services, resources, capacity, pricing rules, and WordPress-based management. It is not the best value for a simple appointment calendar: the separate Gravity Forms and Gravity Wiz costs, setup complexity, and still-maturing feature set make Amelia, Simply Schedule Appointments, or Calendly easier choices.

Modern Events Calendar is worth buying when you need event listings, recurring schedules, registrations, tickets, and appointment-style bookings in one WordPress plugin. It is not the best choice for a simple calendar or for teams that want a lightweight product with a clean support history: the feature set is broad, but the interface, integrations, and troubleshooting burden can become frustrating.
