That makes it more useful than a purely decorative hotel theme, but it also means your booking workflow is tied closely to the developer’s own plugin architecture.

What it does well

Romancy is built around normal hotel-style reservations. Guests can search by check-in and check-out dates, adults, children, room quantity, beds, and baths, with Ajax results intended to update without a full page reload. The booking engine supports daily prices, seasonal and holiday rates, discounts, extra services, minimum-stay rules, deposits, and full payments through WooCommerce gateways. The official documentation places the important controls under WooCommerce > Settings > Booking & Rental, which is a sensible location for administrators already familiar with WooCommerce.

It also handles practical front-desk work better than many theme-only products. Administrators can create manual orders for telephone or walk-in guests, filter bookings by customer, room, date, and status, and configure booking reminders and cancellation options.
