Its strongest feature is the amount of styling available without editing CSS. You can change the banner position, animation, cookie icon, title colour, background, spacing, borders, corner radius, and shadow. Button controls are separated by button type, so Accept, Reject, and Preferences can have different colours, hover states, padding, borders, and radii. The preferences window also supports separate colours for headings, descriptions, the panel, the backdrop, and backdrop blur. There is a preview option, which makes trialling a design less cumbersome than repeatedly saving settings and checking the front end.

That makes the addon useful for WooCommerce shops and agency-built sites where the cookie banner needs to match a theme, brand palette, or checkout experience. It is also more approachable than manually targeting the core plugin’s selectors. These are not proof that the addon is unreliable, but they show that setup still needs testing across themes, caching layers, languages, and mobile screens.

Verdict: buy it when saving design and CSS time has real value. Skip it when you only need a functional banner, because the free core plugin and a little CSS cover the basics, and consider Complianz, CookieYes, or Real Cookie Banner when compliance depth is the actual requirement.
