wpForo is worth it for most WordPress sites that need a real discussion forum rather than a comments section. Compatibility is another practical consideration. Most users report smooth theme integration, but support discussions show that conflicts with security, anti-spam, and styling plugins can require troubleshooting. That is not a reason to reject wpForo, but it is a reason to test the exact plugin combination on staging before migration.
